Gracehaven works directly with teens who have been trafficked for sex. And an important aspect of this care involves the teen’s family, because they are impacted as well.
We believe the youth can't get well alone, so we seek to equip the whole family system with relevant skills. For example, we’ll help the client learn to practice coping skills, and the adults to try discipline that works for the youth and family.
We listen, support and guide the family during some of their most heart-wrenching experiences. We interface with other case workers and agency supports. We are committed to seeking the best path forward for the teen and family.
